The purpose of this meeting is to provide a deeper dive in to the nuances of the rules and regulations of Supplemental Security Income as it pertains to your child’s ability to work and earn income. Many of you have questions about income and assets and how they impact eligibility for maintaining Social Security benefits.

Anna Maki is the Director of Benefits Navigation at Bobby Dodd Institute and is a Community Partner Work Incentive Counselor with Social Security Administration. With over 20 years of professional experience, Anna is adept at problem-solving and navigating the benefits maze. There are very specific parameters for income and Anna is well versed in what those are and how to manage income and maintain benefits. She will also be able to answer questions of how to protect assets while assuring maintenance of eligibility. We all want our kids to be productive members of society and to work if they wish to. Anna will share the strategies on how to accomplish that AND maintain their benefits.

Residents outside of Fayette County are invited to attend all ExOPS meetings free of charge. If you are a resident of Fayette County you are eligible to receive free one on one consultation services from ExOPS to assist with understanding Supplemental Security Income benefits and Medicaid waiver benefits and application as well as a variety of other support information.
